Most accident and incident records from Mozambique were made available when significant clearance was ongoing. There was no effective investigation capacity at the MAC, so most investigations were made by the demining group involved in the accident. Many reports lack both objectivity and thoroughness. The level of medical follow-up is sometimes good, but frequently inadequate.
